It has been announced that Bandai will release toys of the XIG Fighter, a fighter jet that appeared in the special effects drama "Ultraman Gaia" that aired from 1998 to 1999, entitled "Ultraid Chronicle XIG Fighter EX & SG Set" and "Ultraid Chronicle XIG Fighter SS & SG Set." Each will cost 11,000 yen.
This is a new product in the "Ultraoid Chronicle" series of toys with new gimmicks, and the design of the toys released at the time of the broadcast has been completely redesigned. The size is over 140% larger. All models, EX, SS, and SG, are equipped with a transformation gimmick. It is now possible to wait in container mode.
All the aircraft are equipped with a light-up gimmick in the cockpit. The XIG Fighter EX is equipped with a sound gimmick that produces sound effects. In addition to the takeoff sound and the sound of the transformation from container mode to fighting mode, the sound of the main character, Gamu Takayama (Takashi Yoshioka), transforming into Ultraman Gaia is also included.
Reservations will be accepted from 4pm on March 24th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site "Premium Bandai". Shipment is scheduled for August.
