The official trailer for the movie compilation of the second season of the TV anime " Jujutsu Kaisen", "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu ", based on the popular manga by Gege Akutami " ( Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu), has been released on YouTube. "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" is an episode that depicts the high school days of "the strongest two", Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, and the trailer brings back the "strongest youth".

The theme song for the movie compilation was also announced. It will be an arrangement of the TV series' opening theme "Ao no Sumika" by Tatsuya Kitani, called "Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.)".

Kitani commented, "Ao no Sumika expresses the two opposing images of youth in the single word 'blue'. The musicality was in line with that, so we received a lot of contradictory feedback such as 'it's a refreshing song' and 'it's a sad song', which was great, but I tried to give a different face to 'Ao no Sumika' this time. ' Jujutsu Kaisen' is also a mysterious work with depth that shows many different faces depending on who watches it, so I am happy to be able to participate again in this way."

Visual movie ticket cards with designs of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto will be available exclusively at the cinema from April 18th. They are priced at 1,500 yen each.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from March 2018 to September 2024. When a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed, high school student Yuji Itadori is thrown into a world of battles over curses... The comic series has sold over 100 million copies in total.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. There is also talk of a sequel to the anime, Culling Game, being produced.
