It has been announced that Junichi Suwabe will be appearing as a voice actor in the 22nd installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, " You and Idol Pretty Cure ". This will be Suwabe's first time appearing in a "PreCure" TV series, and he will play the mysterious character Tanaka.
Suwabe commented, "I've finally become a Precure! Even at over 50, I still have a dream... What, not really?! I'm all set to play characters like Cure Gentle and Cure Dandy! Jokes aside, I've appeared in a movie before, but this is my first time in a TV series. Tanaka, aka Tanakarn, is the adult (in appearance) who is closest to the Idol Precures and knows their true identities. In other words, this is the position that adults who watch this work can most easily project themselves into! I don't know how I'll be involved in the future, but I sincerely hope that I'll stay until the final episode. Please support me! If possible, I'll be a Precure... I won't say more (laughs)."
