Kanna Hashimoto stars in the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others). The 20th week of "What is it to live?" will begin on February 17th.
Masato (Kitamura Yukiya), who is not feeling well in the stomach, needs a detailed examination and undergoes a gastroscopy. Yui (Hashimoto) becomes worried when Masato asks her about stomach cancer at her parents' house.
One day, Masato goes out during his break at the barber shop and never comes back. Masato comes to the secondhand clothing store where Ayumu (Riisa Naka) works to see how Ayumu works. Then, Watanabe Takao (Ogata Naoto), who has returned to Kobe, comes and invites Masato out into the city to help him out.
Meanwhile, Aiko (Kumiko Aso) and others are anxiously waiting at home. When Masato comes home late, Aiko tells him that she is really upset with him.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who always values her own individuality and who, as a nutritionist, connects people's hearts and futures. It is an original work by screenwriter Nonji Nemoto, who is known for NHK's drama "Honest Real Estate".
