The fifth episode of the TV drama " Japan's Number One Jerk Salaryman " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm), starring Shingo Katori , was broadcast on February 6th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, below) was 4.1% for households and 2.4% for individuals.
The story is about a TV newsman who is involved in a scandal and finds himself at the brink of collapse, but then decides to run for office in order to change Japan, as he wants to create a better society through raising his children. This is the first time in 11 years that Katori has starred in a Fuji TV drama series.
In the fifth episode, Ippei ( Shingo Katori) begins to feel that acting out a family drama is no longer a pain while living with Masasuke (Jun Shison) and others. Makabe (Ken Yasuda Ken) warns Ippei not to forget his original purpose.
Meanwhile, Makabe hears about the situation at Four Peace Nursery School where Masasuke works, and asks Ippei to get involved as a childcare volunteer...and so the story unfolds.
