The winners of the 2025 Elan d'or Awards, which recognize actors and producers who have been active in movies and TV dramas, were announced on February 6th, with Takahashi Fumiya, Yuumi Kawai Yumi, Mizukami Koji, Shuri, Wakaba Ryuya, and Wakana Matsumoto selected for the Newcomer Award. The six attended the awards ceremony held in Tokyo on the same day.
The Elan d'or Awards are an award system that began in 1956. The Newcomer Award was chosen based on the following criteria: "Someone who has shown fresh and excellent acting in the work they have appeared in," and "Someone who has excellent qualities and charm as an actor and is expected to have a great future."
This year's winners of the Producer's Award were Arai Junko from the film "The Last Mile" and Ozaki Hirokazu from the NHK drama series "The Tiger and Her Wings," while the Producer's Encouragement Award went to Mizuki Yuta from the film "True Identity" and Isoyama Akira and Amamiya Saeko from the drama series "Too Much Inappropriate!" (TBS), the Special Award went to the film "Samurai Time Slipper," and the Actors Seminar Award went to Shoji Kohei, Sasaki Shiho, Tachibana Yuki, and Takeda Yumika.
Appearing as presenters on the day were Hikari Mitsushima (The Last Mile), Sari Ito (The Tiger and Her Wings), Director Michihito Fujii(True Identity), and Sadao Abe (This is Too Inappropriate!).
As presenters for the Newcomer Award, Tanaka Kei rushed to Kei Tanaka, Abe to Kawai, Abe again to Mizukami, Yanagiba Toshiro to Shuri, Chiba Yudai to Wakaba, and Tanaka again to Matsumoto.
