The fifth episode of the drama series "Private Banker" starring Toshiaki Karasawa (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9pm) will be broadcast on February 6th. This is the second half of the story.
Private banker Anno (Karasawa) breaks the shocking news to the Tenmiyaji family that someone has been embezzling money. He has noticed that 100 million yen has disappeared from Tenmiyaji Art, a subsidiary of the Tenmiyaji Aina Group.
Isezaki (Mitsuru Fukikoshi), an executive at Tenguuji Arts, tells group leader Mikoto (Mari Natsuki) that he will take responsibility for investigating the matter, but is shaken when Anno offers to support him. Anno instructs his assistant Mikoshiba (Shuhei Uesugi) to investigate Isezaki.
False information is posted on social media claiming that over 1 billion yen has been embezzled from the Tenguuji Group. Worried about the impact this could have on the stock price, Mikoto again threatens Anno with firing and demands that the truth be revealed as soon as possible.
Believing that the truth is hidden in the procurement of Tenguuji art, Anno sends another assistant, Kumiko (Suzuki Honami), to the company as an employee. Kumiko disguises herself in a mushroom-haired wig and goes undercover. She learns from Sakiko Yanagihara (Nishihara Aki), who is in charge of purchasing art, that most of the art is purchased from a certain agency.
However, Isezaki had nothing to do with the procurement. Mikoshiba's investigation revealed that he lived a modest lifestyle and did not appear to have embezzled a large amount of money.
Anno's eye was caught by a certain photo of Isesaki...
