The new cast for the NHK Taiga drama "Toyotomi Brothers!" starring Nakano Taiga, which will be broadcast in 2026, was announced on February 4th, with Sakai Maki playing the Toyotomi brothers' mother Naka, Emma Miyazawa playing the older sister Tomo, and Anna Kurasawa playing the younger sister Asahi. On the 3rd, it was also revealed that Oguri Shun will play Oda Nobunaga, Miyazaki Aoi playing Oichi, and Matsushita Kohei playing Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Nakano, who plays the main character Hidenaga, commented, "I'm overwhelmed."

The script is written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, who is known for "Naoki Hanzawa" and the TV drama series "Ochoyan."
