Live streaming service DAZN has announced that it will exclusively broadcast all Japan national team matches at the AFC U-20 Asian Cup China 2025, which will be held in China from February 12 to March 1, free of charge. The U-20 Japan national team will face Thailand, Syria, and South Korea in Group D. This tournament also serves as the Asian qualifier for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025, which will begin in September of the same year, making it an important tournament in which finishing in the top four will earn a place in the main tournament.
Coach Funakoshi Yuzo, who is in charge of the team, commented, "This Asian Cup is an important tournament with the right to participate in the FIFA U-20 World Cup at stake. The 2025 J-League season is also approaching, and I hope that you will also enjoy watching the players who will represent Japan in the next generation in action."
