Female professional wrestler Saya Kamitani, known as the "Reiwa Evil Queen," will release her first autobiography, "The Story of How I, an Idol and Underachiever, Came to the Center of the Pro Wrestling World" (KADOKAWA), on February 20, 2026.
Kamitani became the first woman to win the MVP award at the Tokyo Sports 2025 Pro Wrestling Awards, and also won the Women's Pro Wrestling Grand Prize. She will compete in the World of Stardom Championship match as champion at STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025 on December 29th, and will compete as the 6th STRONG Women's Champion at WRESTLE KINGDOM 20 in Tokyo Dome on January 4th, 2026.
She has become known outside the wrestling industry through her appearances on the morning live show "Love it!" (TBS), but in her autobiography she talks about her childhood, school days, her time as a support dancer and idol, and for the first time reveals the details of how she was led into the world of wrestling.
Even after a spectacular debut after a tough time as a trainee, she faced many ups and downs, including struggling with loneliness and being forced to take a long break from wrestling due to her shady past. This book also tells the story of why she never gave up professional wrestling, and the untold story of how she became "Sama."
The book will also include original gravure photos designed by Kamitani herself, handwritten messages from Nakano Tamu, the player who changed her life, and her precious servants (a collective term for Kamitani's fans), as well as a special talk match with Kawashima Akira of the comedy duo Kirin.
