The second promotional video for the second season of "Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers," a new TV anime series that is the legitimate sequel to the "Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers" TV anime series which aired from April 1988 to March 1989, has been released on YouTube. The video features the ending theme "Bakemon" by the band "Karanoa" and shows glimpses of the thoughts and feelings of characters from the Heavenly Realm and the Demonic Realm, such as Inmei declaring, "I have decided to destroy the human world and the demonic realm in order to rebuild this planet," Yashimanosagume asking someone, "Will you lend me your strength?", and Rakshasa expressing his strong resolve, "I will definitely be resurrected...".
To commemorate the start of the second season, it was also announced that episodes 11 and 12 of the first season will be rebroadcast on BS11. Episode 11 will be rebroadcast at midnight on June 24th, and episode 12 at midnight on July 1st, for two consecutive weeks.
"Yoroiden Samurai Troopers" is the first new anime in approximately 35 years since the OVA "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers MESSAGE" released in 1991, and it's also generating buzz because it's the first TV anime series to air in about 37 years. It will be broadcast in two parts, with the first part airing from January to March. The second part will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 7th.
"Armor Legend Samurai Troopers" is a completely original story set in present-day Shinjuku. Yoichi Fujita, known for "Gintama" and "Mr. Osomatsu," is directing, while Shogo Muto, known for "Kamen Rider Build," "Crows Zero," and "Thermae Romae," is in charge of series composition and scriptwriting.
"Ronin Warriors" is an anime produced by Sunrise that depicts five boys who possess "Yoroi Gear" (armored suits) being brought together by fate to fight against the demonic army led by the demon emperor Arago. The TV anime aired from April 1988 to March 1989, and due to its popularity, OVAs were also produced. "Ronin Warriors Gaiden" was released in 1989, "Ronin Warriors: Legend of the Shining Emperor" from 1989 to 1990, and "Ronin Warriors: Message" in 1991. A manga adaptation by Ryuichi Hoshino was serialized in "Comic Bonbon" (Kodansha).
