Maiden Monster Caramelize TV Anime

It has been announced that Aoki Spica's "Otome Kaiju Caramelize," a "romantic comedy x monster" manga currently serialized in "Monthly Comic Alive" (KADOKAWA), will be adapted into a TV anime and broadcast on TBS and BS11 in 2026. It will be directed by Omine Teruyuki and produced by Liden Films. Senga Hikari will play Akaishi Kuroe, a high school girl suffering from an unknown illness, with Akira Sekine Daishi as Minami Arata, Sekine Akira as Yuri Manatsu, Shiraishi Haruka as Kono Raimu, Mitsuishi Kotono as Akaishi Rinko, Katsuyuki Konishi as Hibino Kotaro, and Matsui Eriko as Jumbo King.

"Otome Kaiju Caramelize" is a manga that has been serialized in "Monthly Comic Alive" since 2018. The story is about a high school girl, Kuroe Akaishi (aka Chloe), who is suffering from an unknown illness, who falls in love with Minami Shinta, the most popular boy at school, but the moment her feelings of love become stronger, the giant monster Harugon appears... The comic has sold a total of approximately 230,000 copies.

Senga, who plays Akaishi Kuroe, commented, "I put my heart and soul into the role of Kuroe, who grows as a result of falling in love, through trial and error. I hope you will pay attention to her ever-changing expressions and gestures, and enjoy the pop, cute, and grand world view!"
