TBS's morning information program "THE TIME," (Monday to Friday, 5:20 AM) will be broadcast live from December 29th to January 2nd, 2026, including the New Year holidays. On New Year's Day, Shinichiro Azumi Yasuzumi will provide live coverage of "Japan's earliest first sunrise" from 4,000 meters above Mount Fuji.
The program, titled "THE TIME, 'With You, All the Way' Special, every day even during the New Year holidays," will deliver a behind-the-scenes look at the 67th The Japan Record Awards, as well as broadcast live a collaborative choral and calligraphy performance by the top-ranked high school students in Japan.
