The drama is a mystery that revolves around the suspicious death of a classmate from elementary school. Mamiya plays Takagi Masaru, a class leader nicknamed "King" in elementary school, while Araki plays his classmate Saruhashi Sonoko, a reporter for Weekly Apollo who was nicknamed "Douko."
The final episode was titled "The Beginning." It asks, "Who is the real culprit?" A serial murder case begins when a time capsule is unearthed for the first time in 22 years.
