When Yabuki Sachi (Yamamoto Maika) asks to be changed to another group because she will fail the class if she is in the same group as Yui (Hashimoto), Kasumi (Taira Yuna), and Morikawa (Kote Shinya), their teacher Ishiwata (Mizuma Ron) gives them the assignment of planning a menu for the cooking class. Yui and Kasumi are unsure of Ishiwata's intentions, but Sachi says she will plan the entire menu herself.
Yui goes home and consults Aiko (Aso Kumiko).
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who, with her "gal spirit" of valuing her individuality at all times, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist.
