The 32nd episode of the second season of the new TV anime "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story," "Kyoto Disturbance," based on the popular manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki, "The Ten Hands: Hari," will air on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "Noitamina" and elsewhere from November 21st. The 32nd episode features Sawagejohari of the Ten Hands. Voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto plays Sawagejohari.
Kenshin visits Sora, the son of craftsman Arai Sora, in search of a replacement for his broken sakaba sword, but Sora has already stopped making swords. Respecting Sora's peace-loving views, Kenshin gives up on the request to make swords. Meanwhile, at Shishio's base, Sadojima Houji of the Ten Hands reports Kenshin's movements to Shishio. Learning from their conversation that the last sword of the sword is not in Kenshin's hands, the 10th lord, Sawagejo-haru, heads to the Seiko family.
"Rurouni Kenshin" is a popular manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1994 to 1999. It depicts Himura Kenshin, who was feared as a Battousai assassin during the late Edo period, as a wanderer who vowed not to kill after the Meiji Restoration and seeks a way of life in the new era. A new chapter, "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story Hokkaido Arc -", has been serialized in the monthly manga magazine "Jump SQ. (Square)" (Same publisher) since 2017. The new anime will be fully supervised by the original author, Watsuki, from character design to scenario, and will reconstruct the original work from the first episode. The first season aired from July to December 2023.
