Saito Nagisa, an actor and former member of the idol group "=LOVE", attended a press conference for the TV Asahi drama "The Reason We Fall in Love" (starts October 12th at 11pm on Saturdays) held at the TV Asahi headquarters (Minato Ward, Tokyo) with her co-star Yoshihisa Hajime and others.
Saito, whose official height is 151cm, and Yoshihisa, who is 185cm, play a couple of lovers with different builds in this work. Saito, who revealed that there are "many scenes where I'm carried like a princess," confessed that she was actually reluctant to be carried. "It feels like I'm being weighed, and I'm not good at being carried by all of humanity (laughs). It was difficult emotionally at first (even in this work), but Yoshihisa lifted me up so easily that I felt at ease."
Yoshihisa, a former rugby player, said with ease, "Everything under 100kg is the same, so it was really light for me."
After graduating from Meiji University, Yoshihisa joined Toyota Verblitz. He was expected to play in the top league, but retired due to injury. After working as a company employee, he began his career in show business. He has appeared in numerous dramas, including the Super Sentai series "Osama Sentai King Oger" (2023-2024). His father is Genji Kaku, who played for the professional baseball team Chunichi Dragons.
