It has been announced that the classic drama "Say I Love You," starring actors Etsushi Toyokawa and Takako Tokiwa, which aired on TBS in July 1995, will be released on Blu-ray Disc (BD) in 2025 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its broadcast. It will be the first time that it has been released on BD in about 30 years since its broadcast.
The video and audio have been updated using the latest remastering technology, allowing you to enjoy the excitement of the time in high quality image and sound. In addition to all 12 episodes of the drama, the BD box set will include luxurious bonus footage including "Say I Love You 2020 Special Edition: Etsushi Toyokawa & Takako Tokiwa's First Remote Reunion in 25 Years," which was broadcast in 2020.
Other bonus footage includes a "production announcement," "preview compilation," "Takako Tokiwa interview," "collection of famous scenes," and "unreleased cuts," and is included on four discs. A booklet containing a making-of diary by screenwriter Etsuko Kitagawa and newly written comments is also included. It will be released on February 26, 2025. The price is 33,000 yen.
