Actor Kanna Hashimoto appeared at the Japan premiere of "Karada Sagashi THE LAST NIGHT" (directed by Hasumi Eiichiro, to be released on September 5th), the latest installment in her starring horror film "Karada Sagashi" series, held in Tokyo on August 12th, along with her co-stars Gordon Maeda, Kaito Sakurai, Seira Anzai, Marin Honda, Fuku Suzuki Fuku, Takeaki Yoshida, and director Hasumi.
The film is based on a novel by Welzard posted on the novel submission site Everystar, and is the second adaptation of the 2022 film "Body Search."
Asuka (Hashimoto) and Takahiro (Maeda) survive the "Body Search," a quest in which the same day is repeated until the dismembered body is found. Just afterward, Asuka's existence disappears from this world before Takahiro's eyes. Three years later, high school student Rikuto Ichinose (Sakurai) and his friends wake up in the middle of the night at an amusement park. A girl covered in blood, known as the "Red Person," appears and brutally murders the five of them one by one. However, when they wake up again, it is the morning of the same day. Realizing that they have been chosen to participate in the "Body Search," Takahiro appears before them, seemingly without a trace of his former self. He has been searching for Asuka for the past three years. In order to save Asuka, who has disappeared due to a chain reaction of curses, the six must confront the terror of the "Red Person."
