The eighth episode of the Fuji TV drama series "If This World Were a Stage, Where Would the Dressing Room Be?" (Wednesdays at 10pm), written by Koki Mitani and starring actor Masaki Suda, aired on November 19th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 3.4% for households and 2.0% for individuals.
The drama is a youth ensemble drama set in Shibuya in 1984. Suda plays Kube Mitsunari, a theater company director who dreams of success, alongside Nikaido Fumi as the mysterious dancer Koda Rika, Kamiki Ryunosuke as Ryunosuke Kamiki Shogo, a newcomer TV writer inspired by the "young Mitani", and Hamabe Minami as Egashira Juri, a shrine maiden at Happun Shrine, a quiet shrine nestled in Shibuya.
In episode 8, director Hisabe (Suda) is performing Shakespeare's play "The Winter's Tale" at the WS Theater. As Reizaburo Koreo (Kazuyuki Asano) and Kent-chan (Shinya Matsuda) are performing on stage, a sudden heckler calls out, "You're so bad!" It turns out that the heckler is Toro (Toma Ikuta), Rika's (Nikaido) former lover.
