The sixth episode of the TBS Friday drama "Fake Mummy" (Fridays at 10pm), starring actors Haru and Rina Kawaei, aired on November 14th. The scene in which Ryoma, played by Koji Mukai of the popular group Snow Man, gently embraces Kaoru (played by Haru), was well-received.

Kaoru visits her mother, Seiko (Tsutsui Mariko), who is hospitalized for tests. She confesses that she quit her job a year ago, that she faked her exams by pretending to be someone else's mother, and that she still lives as a "fake mom." She also says that she used to think that her "career was her true worth," but that she has found a new side of herself through her work as a fake mom.
However, Seiko refused to listen, insisting that she was being deceived, and pointed out that impersonation was a crime. "My daughter graduated from Tokyo University and is now a criminal? I didn't go through all the trouble to raise her like that. What are you doing? I don't want to hear anything more. Just get out of my hospital room," she told Kaoru, sending her away.
Ryuma was waiting for Kaoru outside the hospital after she left, injured. Kaoru tearfully said that she knew she was doing something wrong, but that she wanted her mother to know who she was. "I wanted you to tell me you were doing your best," Kaoru said, shedding big tears. Ryuma gently embraced her and said, "Let's go home together, with your mother (who is being discharged from the hospital)."
On social media, there was a lot of excitement, with comments such as "Ryuma is so cool I can't stop feeling excited," "Ryuma is so kind and cool I started crying," "Ryuma was so cool. I'm sure I'll fall in love with him," and "Ryuma appeared at the perfect time, like a prince."
The drama is a serial adaptation of the winning work by Sonomura Mitsuru, who won the grand prize at the first TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE screenplay competition. Kaoru, who is struggling to find a new job, meets Hidaka Makie, the company president and single mother, at an interview at the venture company RAINBOWLAB. Makie invites Kaoru to a parent-child interview as a stand-in for her daughter Iroha, who is applying to a prestigious private elementary school.
