Singer and actor Masaharu Fukuyama attended the "Premium Lighting Ceremony" for his starring movie "The Last Man -First Love-" (directed by Shunichi Hirano, to be released on December 24th) held at Tokyo Midtown (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on November 19th. He flashed a smile as he lit up the Christmas tree set up in Midtown Garden.
When asked about his Christmas memories, Fukuyama recalled that he had previously held a women-only and men-only live concert around that time, and responded to fans' requests by saying, "Would we do it again? We'll consider it." Regarding the highlights of the movie, he said, "It's a tear-jerker. It was made by a stellar cast, so there's no way it won't be entertaining."
Co-stars Yo Oizumi, Ren Nagase, Tae Kimura, Yo Yoshida, and Rie Miyazawa also attended the lighting ceremony.
"Last Man: The Blind Investigator" is a drama series that aired on TBS in April 2023. Fukuyama plays Hiromi Minami, a blind FBI special agent with a charming personality, and Oizumi Yo plays Shintaro Godo, a detective who will stop at nothing to apprehend the criminal. They team up to tackle a difficult case. The story begins with Minami and Shintaro heading to Hokkaido to investigate a certain case. There, they meet Nagisa Ivanova (Miyazawa), Minami's first love, who is a world-renowned genius engineer and is being pursued by a mysterious organization.
