The character movie of Mori Nagayoshi, played by Gordon Maeda in the movie "Baban Baban Ban Vampire" (directed by Shinji Hamasaki), starring actor Ryo Yoshizawa, was released on July 7th. Maeda sings the character song for Nagayoshi.
The character movie begins with Nagayoshi standing sadly on a rooftop. Nagayoshi has been living as a vampire for over 450 years, and was once a feared warlord during the Warring States period, nicknamed "Demon Musashi" for his cold-heartedness. Nagayoshi was loyal to Oda Nobunaga (Shinichi Tsutsumi) and served him sincerely, but one day Nobunaga began to love his younger brother Ranmaru (Yoshizawa). Then, after a certain important incident, Nagayoshi's hatred for Ranmaru reached its peak. This resentment has not disappeared until the present day. In the released footage, he repeatedly utters a resentful tune, "I will never forgive Ranmaru."
The film is based on the manga of the same name by Hiromasa Okushima, which is currently being serialized in the manga magazine "Bessatsu Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten). Hiding his true identity, 450-year-old vampire Mori Ranmaru works as a live-in part-timer at a public bathhouse. In search of the ultimate tasting "blood of an 18-year-old virgin," he struggles to protect the chastity of the bathhouse's only son, 15-year-old Li In. Yoshizawa plays Mori Ranmaru and Rihito Itagaki plays Li In.
