The 19th episode of "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime "Precure" series, titled "An Invitation to the Labyrinth Train!?", will air on ABC TV and TV Asahi on June 7th at 8:30 AM.
Anna and Mikuru are going on a school trip by train with their classmates. Yumi, the head of the organizing committee, has been researching the meals and hot springs at their accommodation and has filled her travel itinerary with notes. However, a train attendant passes by and, while Yumi looks away for a moment, her itinerary disappears. Seeing that Pochitan has reacted at the same time, Anna and Mikuru chase after the attendant.
Just as the two had suspected, the salesperson turned out to be Goemon. There were 30 minutes until the next stop, but Goemon said, "We can just make our escape on the train," and activated the mechanical maze he had previously demonstrated at the academy, inviting the two into the "Labyrinth Train." Anna and Mikuru solved the ticket riddles that Goemon had posed and boarded the Labyrinth Train. The first carriage they entered was the dining car, but as soon as the train emerged from the tunnel and the surroundings became bright again, screams from the passengers echoed through the air.
The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. A story of new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure transcends time.
Hikari Chiga will appear as Cure Answer/Anna Akechi, Kaede Hondo as Cure Mystic/Mikuru Kobayashi, and Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Ruruka Mori. It has also been announced that the mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair, whose true identity is unknown, will make an appearance.
