It has been announced that Season 3 of the anime "Dorohedoro," based on the manga by Q Hayashida, is in production. To commemorate the decision to produce Season 3, an illustration drawn by director Yuichiro Hayashi has also been released. It depicts the demon Haru singing about his fervent anticipation for the sequel.
"Dorohedoro," with its unique worldview and shocking, chaotic content, has garnered a passionate fanbase both domestically and internationally and has been loved for many years. Season 2, the first sequel in approximately six years since the TV anime aired in 2020, began streaming on April 1st, and the final episode was released on May 27th. To commemorate the release of the final episode of Season 2, an animated music video (MV) of the opening theme "Zettai MUST Dansen" by the music unit "(K)NoW_NAME" was also released on YouTube.
"Dorohedoro" is a dark fantasy about a man with amnesia whose head has been transformed into that of a lizard by magic, and his quest to regain his true face and memories. It was serialized in manga magazines such as "IKKI," "Hibana," and "Gessan" (Shogakukan) from 2000 to 2018. An anime adaptation aired from January to March 2020.
