George Takahashi of the rock band "THE Tora-Buryu" appeared on "Naokiman's Urban Legend Wide Show SEASON3," a show hosted by urban legend YouTuber Naokiman, which aired on ABEMA on June 16th. He talked about strange events he experienced after a UFO sighting and the story of a UFO that led to the creation of his hit song "Road."
The program explores the truth about aliens and UFOs based on classified UFO-related documents released in the United States and UFO sightings reported around the world. Takahashi recounts a strange experience from his high school days, when he saw a mysterious glowing object that everyone at school witnessed.
Despite it being the middle of summer, Takahashi suddenly took out his winter jacket and went outside, where he was struck by a feeling of floating. When he looked up at the sky, he saw countless lights. Furthermore, he revealed that when he called out to a figure, "it turned around and it was me," surprising everyone in the studio.
Afterward, he returned home with a feeling of floating again, and later discovered a location in a photo collection of Mount Fuji that matched the scenery he had seen that night. Upon hearing this story, Takeharu Mikami, editor-in-chief of "Monthly Mu," commented, "That's definitely an abduction," and surprised cries of "What?!" spread throughout the studio.
Furthermore, Takahashi confessed that there was a mysterious experience involving a UFO behind the creation of their mega-hit song "Road," which sold over 2.2 million copies. He said that when the band was in debt and on the verge of breaking up, he saw a light that looked like a UFO in the sky after finishing a recording session, and at that moment, the intro to "Road," a song that had been rejected by the band in the past, started playing in his head.
Takahashi recalled, "If it hadn't been for that, we wouldn't have recorded it," and "The moment we decided to put it on the CD, it suddenly disappeared," revealing the surprising secret behind the birth of the masterpiece.
