The visual for the "Reclamation Arc" of the fourth season of the TV anime "Re:Zero," based on the light novels from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), has been released. The visual features characters such as Subaru Natsuki, Emilia, and Shaula, along with the tagline, "We will definitely take them back." Episode 77, the final episode of the fourth season's "Loss Arc," aired on June 17th, and the visual for the "Reclamation Arc" was released afterward. The "Reclamation Arc" will consist of 8 episodes and will air from August 12th on TOKYO MX, AT-X, and 21 other stations nationwide.
A special video of Emilia singing "Stay Alive ~Regain~," which was featured in the final episode of the "Loss Arc," has been released on YouTube. The video shows Rie Takahashi , who plays Emilia , standing in front of the microphone for the first time since the first season and singing with her feelings now, 10 years later. Takahashi commented, "As we celebrate the 10th anniversary and finish the Loss Arc of the 4th season, I had the opportunity to sing 'Stay Alive.' While keeping the original meaning of the song intact, when I wrapped it in the warmth that Emilia feels now, it strangely felt like a song that resonated with Subaru. Please enjoy 'Stay Alive ~Regain~,' a new cheering song for the Reclamation Arc."
A special program featuring Yusuke Kobayashi (voice of Subaru Natsuki) , Takahashi (voice of Emilia), and Takuya Eguchi(voice of Julius Euclius), titled "TV Anime ' Re:Zero' 4th Season Loss Arc Completion Special in Tottori Sand Dunes," will air for two consecutive weeks on June 24th and July 1st.
"Re:Zero" is based on a light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka. The story follows Subaru, a high school student who is summoned to another world and gains the ability to rewind time whenever he dies. The original series has sold over 16 million copies.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2016, the first half of the second season aired from July to September 2020, and the second half aired from January to March 2021. The third season, "Attack Arc," aired from October to November 2024, and "Counterattack Arc" aired from February to March 2025. The fourth season, "Loss Arc," began airing in April and concluded on June 17th.
