Episode 12 of the TV anime "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!", based on Harunori's "classic BL comedy" manga, titled "You and I are 'friends'!!", will air on TOKYO MX and other channels from late night on June 17th.
Valentine's Day is a day when the whole school is buzzing with excitement over whether they'll receive chocolate. While the boys are preoccupied with the girls' advances, Nakamura is secretly nervous about giving Hirose a "friendship chocolate." He follows her around during class breaks, constantly looking for an opportunity, until he finally spots Hirose alone.
"Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!" is a popular series that depicts the fantasies and reckless actions surrounding the unrequited love of shy high school student Nakamura Otokoto for his classmate Hirose Aiki, all in a nostalgic 1980s-90s style. The manga is published by Heroes. The anime is directed by Umeki Aoi, who also handles the script and character design. Drive is producing the anime. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Nakamura Otokoto and Sakakibara Yuki voices Hirose Aiki. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
