Comedian Higashi Takahiro, also known as "Higashi MAX," recently updated his official blog, revealing that he had purchased a toy from a nostalgic robot anime, which has garnered attention.
Higashi began by saying, "I think only people in their 50s and older will remember this," and then reported, "I bought it without thinking." She added, "It's been decades since I bought a toy."
Higashi revealed that he had purchased a reproduction of the large toy "Jumbo Machinder" from the robot anime "Brave Raideen," which aired in 1975. Regarding its size, approximately 60 centimeters tall, he said, "We had one at home when I was a kid. It felt so big then, but now that I'm an adult, it feels small," and "I wonder if my older brother got it for me," expressing his nostalgia. He added, "It brings back so many memories."
"I just couldn't resist buying it! I'm so happy! I've already put it on display," she said happily.
Fans responded with various comments such as, "It was broadcast on Sunday, right?", "Thinking about the past makes my heart ache," and "Excitement is important no matter how old you are."
