It has been announced that a "Guns N' Roses collaboration art Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash Hathaway's Flash: The Witch of Circe".
This sticker features collaborative artwork between the American rock band Guns N' Roses, who perform the ending theme song "Sweet Child o' Mine," and the Mobile Suits (MS) from the Gundam series. The face art of the XI Gundam, RX-78-2 Gundam, Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam, and ν Gundam is designed in the style of the cover art for Guns N' Roses' album "Appetite for Destruction."
The animated music video for the ending theme song, "Sweet Child of Mine," has also been released on YouTube.
"Hathaway's Flash" is based on a novel published between 1989 and 1990 by director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the "creator" of the "Gundam" series. Set in Universal Century 0105, the story follows Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, as he pilots the new mobile suit XI Gundam and rebels against the Earth Federation government.
The anime was announced to consist of three chapters, with the first chapter released in June 2021. The second chapter has been a hit, grossing over 2.5 billion yen and attracting over 1.48 million viewers in just 48 days since its release on January 30th.
