It has been announced that additional cast members for the TV anime "Demon Bride," based on the popular light novel by Kureha, which is also being made into a live-action movie, will include Ryota Osaka as Manaka Iwami , Osaka Ryota as Kozuki Yota, Sayaka Sembongi as Touko, and Natsuki Hanae as Nekoda Tokichi.
Iwami, who plays Shinonome Karin, the younger sister of the heroine Shinonome Yuzuko, commented, "When I play Karin, I feel that she is simply like a young child. She is the complete opposite of Yuzuko, but I would be happy if you could watch over her warmly...! Please look forward to the world of the anime 'Demon Bride'."
Osaka, who plays the fox spirit Kozuki Yota, who takes Karin as his bride, said, "Yota and Karin start off in very unpleasant roles, but it's a fascinating story about how Yuzu, who has been subjected to our power harassment, moves forward. There are many things that you can only understand by watching until the end, so I hope you will watch until the end."

The story is set in a world where humans and ayakashi coexist, and tells the story of Shinonome Yuzuko, an ordinary high school student living an unfortunate life, who meets Kiryuin Reiya, a demon who stands at the top of the ayakashi world, and is chosen to be his bride... It's a "Japanese-style ayakashi Cinderella story." The series has gained popularity, with the total number of copies of the light novel and comic adaptations published exceeding 6.5 million.
The anime will be directed by Kazuhito Omiya and produced by Colored Pencil Animation Japan. Saori Hayami will play Shinonome Yuzuko, an ordinary girl who lives a life unloved by her family, and Yuichiro Umehara will play Kiryuin Reiya, the next head of the demon clan that holds the top position among the ayakashi. It will air in 2026.
