To celebrate the 70th birthday of Keisuke Kuwata of the popular band Southern All Stars (Southern) on February 26th this year, it has been announced that WOWOW will be broadcasting and streaming a special program titled "Thanks and Congratulations from WOWOW" on the same day.
He first appeared on WOWOW's program "KEISUKE KUWATA Acoustic Revolution" in April 1991, when the station first launched. Over the next 35 years, he has broadcast and streamed a variety of programs. This special program will "unofficially" deliver WOWOW's message of gratitude and happy birthday, centered around music videos and live footage of Kuwata, who has such a close connection with the station. It may also include footage that will be broadcast for the first time on WOWOW.
The program is titled "Thanks and Congratulations from WOWOW" Special Program: Kuwata Keisuke Birthday SP - WOWOW 'unsolicitedly!' Happy 70th Birthday! - and will be broadcast on WOWOW Prime from 6:30 pm on February 26th, and streamed on WOWOW On Demand.
