The main key visual for the TV anime "Shosetsuka ni Naro Narou," has been released. The visual features a large gathering of cats that appear in the story, with a cat-dragon depicted at the center, and each of the surrounding cats expressing its individual personality.
It was also announced that suis from the band "Yorushika" will be in charge of the opening theme "Nekobi" and the band project "shallm" will be in charge of the ending theme "Tadaima no Basho". The second promotional video featuring these songs has been released on YouTube.
It has also been announced that Hinata Tadokoro will play Greater Demon, Yoji Ueda will play the fourth generation Moshamosha, Saho Shirasuna will play Mikemike, Natsuki Hanae will play Monarca (Black), and Tomohisa Aso will play Pompora.
"Cat and Dragon" is a light novel written by Amara and illustrated by Okuma Mai. It depicts the unusual bond between a dragon raised by cats, cats, and humans, and became a hot topic for achieving the number one spot in the daily rankings for a short story on "Shosetsuka ni Narou"(Shosetsuka ni Naro), which is unusual. The manga adaptation has also gained popularity, and the series has sold over 1.3 million copies in total. The anime is directed by Oh Jin-goo and produced by OLM. Takehito Koyasu will voice the cat-dragon. It will air on TOKYO MX every Saturday at 9pm starting July 4th, and will be broadcast sequentially on BS Nippon Television, Yomiuri Television, AT-X, and Nagasaki Culture Broadcasting.
