The first trailer for the TV anime series "I Want to Love You Until You Die," based on the manga by Aono Nachi currently being serialized on Ichijinsha's online manga site, Ichijin Plus, has been released on YouTube. The trailer depicts the encounter and school life of 14-year-old Sheena, who cannot accept her circumstances, and Mimi, a little girl covered in blood, in an absurd world where daily life on the brink of death is "normal."
"I Want to Love You Until I Die" depicts girls struggling to live their lives while hoping for peace in a world where death is always close by. One night, 14-year-old Sheena, who attends a school that raises orphaned children to be weapons of war, meets a little girl named Mimi covered in blood.
The anime will star Takahashi Rie as Totsuki Sheena, Hidaka Rina as Kagari Mimi, Seto Asami as Lizzy Seiran, and Ishikawa Yui as Maud Ali. Directed by Tomoda Yasushi, with series composition and script by Hanada Jukki. ROLL2 will produce the anime. It will begin airing in July.
