To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," a new winter visual has been released. The visual features the Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom towering over the series, with Heero and Relena standing shoulder to shoulder.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition 4K Remaster Box," which will be sold on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site Premium Bandai and elsewhere, will include an acrylic panel with the same visual as the original. It will be released on March 25th.
The 4K Remaster Box includes a new audio commentary as an audio bonus. Photographs of the people who participated in the recording, including Hikaru Midorikawa (Heero Yuy), Toshihiko Seki (Duo Maxwell), Ai Orikasa (Quatre Labarba Winner), Ryuzo Ishino (Zhang Wufei), Ryutaro Okiayu (Treize Khushrenada), Akiko Yajima (Relena Dorian), and Takehito Koyasu (Zechs Merquise), have also been released.
To commemorate the release of the "4K Remaster Box," Gundam Official X will be distributing icons featuring illustrations of characters and mobile suits every day starting February 3rd.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" was broadcast from 1995 to 1996 as the second installment of the "Alternative Series." It depicts the battles of five young Gundam pilots. It was also the first Gundam series to be broadcast in the United States. "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz" is a sequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," and was produced as an original video animation (OVA) in 1997, with three episodes. The "Special Edition" is a theatrical version that re-edits all three OVA episodes and adds new parts, and was released in August 1998.
