It has been revealed that the film "Spread Your Voice" (directed by Soma Yuta), starring Soma Osamu, known for his role as Furiki Genba/Bun Orange in the special effects drama "Bakujo Sentai Bunbunger," will be released in January 2027. Soma, who plays the main character who stutters, said, "There are many things to think about, such as breathing and timing, but I would like to approach the role sincerely, carefully considering how I interact with those around me as a human being and what kind of daily life I live."
The film is a human story about a young man who stutters, and is an anthology of three stories. Maeda Riku is a fifth-grader who struggles with stuttering. He is shy and has no friends, but he meets a transfer student, Tsubaki Yosuke, and they become close. When Riku finds out that Yosuke has dyslexia, a learning disability, the two become closer. However, Yosuke ends up transferring schools... This is the story.
The grown-up protagonist Riku will be played by Soma, and Yosuke will be played by Iwahashi Genki, who co-starred with Soma in the drama "The Right Way to Furikakeru Ren'ai Ruby." Other cast members include Mogami Moga, Harada Funyao, and Ozawa Mayu. Young Riku will be played by Uyo Daiki, and young Yosuke will be played by Shugo.

Also, the fact that we share the same last name as the director makes me feel closer to him, and I'm looking forward to meeting him. I'm also happy to be working with Genki-kun in a different role.
