It has been announced that a new branch of JUMP SHOP, the official shop for Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump and other Jump magazines, called "THE JUMP SHOP Jimbocho," will open on March 19th on the fourth floor of the newly renovated Sanseido Bookstore Kanda Jimbocho Main Store (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
The store will be decorated with objects and decorations that allow visitors to experience the history of "Weekly Shonen Jump." Over 400 original products are planned for sale, including a lineup of items inspired by "Weekly Shonen Jump," such as items with a motif of the color of "senkagami," a type of washi paper used in the magazine. Original goods with motifs of famous scenes and color illustrations from the manga will also be sold. A new original apparel line, "THE (EX)," will also be launched.
Some of the merchandise that have been unveiled include "ONE PIECE FRAME ART Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 34, 1997" (11,000 yen), a framed art piece that displays the color cover of the first issue of "ONE PIECE" when the series first began, and comic-shaped cushions "NARUTO Comicsion" and "HUNTER×HUNTER Comicsion" (8,250 yen each).
