It has been revealed that comedian Kendo Kobayashi got married in August last year and gave birth to his first child, a boy, in January this year. This was revealed on the special program "Kendo Kobayashi's Important Announcement!", which was broadcast on the CS channel Fuji TV ONE on January 31st, and a rebroadcast of the program has also been announced.
The show was filmed in Bangkok with Kobayashi and Yasei Bakudan's Kukkie. Kukkie, who headed to the location immediately after his regular information program finished, was told nothing other than that Kobayashi would be making an important announcement during the shoot.
Towards the end of the show, Kobayashi himself revealed that he had married an ordinary woman in August last year, and that his first child, a son, had been born about four days before the shoot (a certain day in January). After being taken around Bangkok for two full days since his arrival, Kukkie couldn't believe the announcement at first, but was overjoyed when he found out it was true. The atmosphere on set was filled with celebration. Kukkie also celebrated with his signature illustration, depicting a happy mother and son with the face of Yoshimoto Shinkigeki comedian Yanagi Koji.
Due to the positive reception, the program will be rebroadcast twice on Fuji TV One's sports variety channel, at 9:30 pm on February 1st and midnight on February 2nd.
