Tamaki recently made headlines when he placed third in his class at Europe's largest jiu-jitsu tournament held in Lisbon, Portugal. Viewers couldn't help but comment on this spectacular action scene, saying things like, "Amane moves just like a jiu-jitsu practitioner," "Don't underestimate the world's third-ranked jiu-jitsu practitioner lol," "He's third-ranked in the world in jiu-jitsu, so Amane shouldn't go all out," and "Tamaki's fighting action. It almost makes you feel sorry for his opponent."
