Actor Jun Inoue will appear with talent Masaaki Sakai on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will air on February 2nd at 1:00 p.m.
The two first met 60 years ago in the legendary group sounds band, The Spiders. Both joined the group at the energetic age of 16. Sakai recalls his first impression of Inoue, who joined later, saying, "He seemed a bit cheeky."
Next, when Inoue tried to talk about his impression of Sakai, who was already in the group, Sakai made a sharp remark from next to him. They talked about the relationship between senior and junior that has remained unchanged to this day, the unspoken harmony they developed on stage when they were younger, and their great teamwork that has been "revived."
Sakai turns 80 this year, and Inoue will be 80 next year. Sakai has declared that he will maintain his current status and remain active for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, the always cheerful and fun Inoue reveals an unexpected, heartfelt cry from his heart and a surprising determination.
