The NHK morning drama series "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Takaishi Akari, will enter its 18th week, "Matsue, Wonderful," on February 2nd. The synopsis and scene cuts have been released.

"Bakeke" is the 113th morning drama. Based on the story of Lafcadio Hearn and his wife Setsu, the story follows a couple, with a heroine who loves ghost stories, as they go about their everyday lives together with their foreign husband.
In the 18th week, Toki (Takaishi), Tsukasa (Okabe Takashi), and Fumi (Ikewaki Chizuru) finally pay off their debts. Everyone expresses their gratitude to Heaven (Tommy Bastow), and Zentaro (Maehara Mizuki) joins in, holding a debt-payoff party. Kajitani (Iwasaki Udai), who happened to be there for an interview, shows up, and the Matsuno family's debt repayment becomes an article in Heaven Sensei's Diary.
From that day onwards, the behavior of the people of Matsue changed completely, and a shadow fell on Toki and his friends' lives...
