The third episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Mirai no Musuko" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Shida Mirai, aired on January 27th. Yano Makoto, a young member of the theater troupe "Albatross," played by Hyodo Kokai, has gained fans with comments such as "He's a dog-like junior and admirable," and "It makes you want to root for him."

Mirai is given the lead role in the theater company's next performance. However, during rehearsals, she is scolded by the troupe's leader and director, Masao (Akihisa Shiono). Later, as Mirai is practicing hard alone, Makoto brings her a drink.
"It's pathetic, the performance is coming up soon," Mirai said cheerfully, to which Makoto gently reassured her, "(Mirai's acting) isn't bad. Masaki has high expectations of you too, so it's tough." When Mirai was worried about whether she could handle the lead role, Makoto encouraged her, saying, "Mirai, you can do it."
Makoto began to recount the story of the day he first met Mirai. At the time, Makoto had no dreams or goals, and it was Mirai who asked him to come and see a play. "I'd always lived my life following the rails that had been laid out for me. Mirai's acting changed my life," he confessed.

The drama is based on the popular manga "My Future Son: A Son Came Down From Heaven After 10 Years of Singles!" written by Kumiko Aso and illustrated by Hajime Kuromugi. Mirai, who is unsure about love, work, and dreams, suddenly becomes a mother. Through raising a child, she learns about living with others and supporting each other, and the story depicts her rekindling her life.
