The synopsis and stills from the fourth episode of the Fuji TV Monday 9pm drama "Yandoku!" starring Kanna Hashimoto, which will be broadcast on February 2nd, have been released.
A video of Odaiba Bayside Medical Center losing its cool at its junior colleague Ryuji (played by Toranosuke Kobayashi) goes viral on social media, damaging the hospital's image. The hospital then decides to film a promotional video featuring Odaiba Bayside Medical Center in an effort to improve its image.
Meanwhile, Otoha encounters Kanzaki (Morisaki Win), a cardiac surgeon on his rounds. Kanzaki is a handsome man whose name resonates throughout the hospital, and is hailed as a charismatic genius doctor. However, Kanzaki's voice is hard to hear, and when Otoha confronts him, she can't hide her irritation, saying, "Your voice is so quiet!" Just then, Ryuji and Mitsuo (Hayashi Kazuyoshi), the president of the company she works for, arrive. Mitsuo runs a motorcycle shop and asks Otoha, who loves motorcycles, to come and visit his shop.
On the way home from work that day, Koonami and Sara (Miyase Ryuya) go to a motorcycle shop and find Mitsuo's daughter Aki (Doi Rena) and grandson Naoto (Yuda Yukiki). Naoto begs Mitsuo to go on a tour with him when he gets his license, and Mitsuo seems happy, saying, "I guess I still have a long life ahead of me."
A few days later, Mitsuo is brought in complaining of chest pain. Angina is suspected and he is admitted to the cardiovascular surgery department, and Koonami bows to Kanzaki, the doctor in charge, saying, "Please!" While looking at Mitsuo's medical records, Koonami discovers what appears to be a stenosis in the carotid artery on an MRI image. If heart surgery is performed with this stenosis, it could cause a cerebral infarction and, in the worst case, the patient could fall into a coma.
However, Koonami's concerns are dismissed by Kanzaki and Nakata (Mukai Osamu), and the surgery goes ahead as scheduled. Unable to give up, Koonami begins to investigate Mitsuo's symptoms in detail on her own initiative, but...
Written by Nemoto Nonji, this hilarious medical entertainment follows Hashimoto as Tagami Kotoha, a former delinquent girl who, after her best friend dies in an accident, studies hard to become a neurosurgeon and brings a breath of fresh air to the medical field.
