TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appear! Ad Street Heaven" (Saturdays at 9 PM) will feature "Kamakura Gourmet" on its January 31st broadcast, titled "Delicious Kamakura," with themes including the bounty of Sagami Bay, Kamakura vegetables, and flavors beloved by writers.
The program will feature popular restaurants with long queues! A fluffy and creamy "tamagoyaki" set meal, with queues every day in a highly competitive area! Large portions of "European-style curry" and thick pancakes are its specialties! A retro coffee shop that is so popular it's sure to sell out! A scrap of Kurumikko, right in front of the beach! Also featured are the famous soba noodle shop's "tamago toji" (egg-soaked noodles), which is highly praised by Kyoko Koizumi, charcoal grilled pork and beef cutlet sandwiches from two major long-established butcher shops, a delicious rice bowl made only with vegetables at a cafe in a residential area, Hato Sable, Chikara Mochi, and Genji Monaka! There will also be famous sweets from a long-established shop, and the famous Western beef stew loved by Kamakura writers.
