It has been announced that Takuma Yokota's manga "The Story of the Useless Disciplinary Committee Member and the JK with an Inappropriate Skirt Length," currently serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius (Kodansha), will be adapted into a TV anime and will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and BS Asahi from April. It has also been announced that Junya Junya Enoki will play the role of the useless discipline committee member Sakura Daimon Tougo, and Riko Akechi will play the role of Kohinata Miho, a JK (high school girl) with an inappropriate skirt length.
The story is about two polar opposites, Sakura Daimon Tougo, a useless discipline committee member, and Kohinata Hohoe, a high school girl with an inappropriate skirt length, who gradually grow closer as they get to know each other. The anime will be directed by Iwanaga Taiji and produced by Zero G.
Enoki commented, "Sakura Daimon is a member of the discipline committee and a very serious student, but he is so serious that he often goes in a strange direction, so he may be a pretty crazy character. When I play the role, I try to do it with a good attitude and not worry too much about the small details. There are many other unique characters, but they are all good kids, so I think you will enjoy watching! Please look forward to it!"
Akechi said, "Bishou-chan is a little clumsy, but I think she is a very honest and sincere girl at heart. I did my best to act, hoping that everyone would be able to sense the cuteness that lies at her core.
