"Anime 1 Week" brings you a week's worth of anime news. From January 18th to 24th, news that the latest installment in the "Pretty Series," "Onegai AiPuri," will be released in spring 2026, and that "Mobile Police Patlabor EZY" will be made up of three chapters and eight episodes, were the hot topics.
On the 18th, the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" event was held at Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash " (directed by Murase Shukou), titled "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Witch of Circe." The band "[Alexandros]" performed a guerrilla live show. On the 19th, it was announced that "FX Warrior Kurumi-chan," a manga about FX (foreign exchange margin trading) currently serialized in "Monthly Comic Flapper" (KADOKAWA), will be adapted into a TV anime in 2026.

Chapter 2 will be released on August 14th, and Chapter 3 in March 2027. Episodes 1 to 6 will be an anthology format with each episode being a self-contained story, while episodes 7 and 8 will be a continuous story. Sumire Uesaka will play Kuga Towa, the pilot of Ingram Unit 1, and Kikunosuke Toya will play Amatori Kippei, the commander of Ingram Unit 1.
On the 21st, it was revealed that Kazuto Mihara's Noh manga "The World is Dancing," which depicts the life of Zeami, will be adapted into a TV anime. It will be broadcast in the summer of 2026.
