The latest installment in the remake series of the popular anime "Space Battleship Yamato," "Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199," had its fifth chapter, "The Incandescent Galactic War," premiere on January 23rd at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo), with general director Harutoshi Fukui making an appearance. The main visual for Chapter 5, which includes the catchphrase "Everything turns upside down in the last minute," has also become a hot topic, suggesting a shocking ending awaits. Fukui said nothing about the ending, asking the gathered fans to "please refrain from revealing the ending," and Nakamura Eriko, who plays Mikage Kiryu, who is the host of the show, also emphasized, "Please keep your mouths closed."
Also appearing on stage to greet the audience were Yamadera Koichi Yamadera, who plays Desler, Nobuhiko Okamoto, who plays Tokugawa Taisuke, Horie Shun, who plays Isidor, and director Yamato Naomichi.
"Yamato 3199" is a reimagining of the original works "Be Forever Yamato" and "Space Battleship Yamato III," with a new interpretation added. Harutoshi Fukui serves as general director. There are seven chapters in total, with the fifth chapter set to premiere on February 20th.
