The 22nd episode of "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime "Precure" series, titled "Silk's Resolve," will air on ABC TV and TV Asahi on June 28th at 8:30 AM.
Anna and Mikuru are invited to a play starring Ieiri Shiruku. Upon arriving at the theater, they are greeted by Shiruku's manager, Ando Miwa, and reunite with Shiruku in the dressing room. There, Shiruku reveals that she had received a予告状 (notice of intent to steal) from the Phantom Thieves.
The予告状 (notice of intent to steal) read, "Tonight at 7 PM, we will take Shiruku's earrings." The earrings weren't particularly expensive, but they were a precious memento that Shiruku had worn during her debut audition, and 7 PM was the start time of the play. Responding to Shiruku's request to "protect the earrings," the two looked around the theater. Mikuru disguised herself as a makeup artist with her Pre-Kit Gloss and infiltrated the dressing room of Shiruku's co-star, Sakura Yoshino, while Anna, who was talking to her classmates Rie and Yumi at the entrance, was suddenly pulled away by Pochitan and spotted Ruruka among the audience.
The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. A story of new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure transcends time.
Hikari Chiga will appear as Cure Answer/Anna Akechi, Kaede Hondo as Cure Mystic/Mikuru Kobayashi, and Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Ruruka Mori. It has also been announced that the mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair, whose true identity is unknown, will make an appearance.
