The first episode of the TV Asahi drama "Reunion ~Silent Truth~" (Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring Ryoma Takeuchi, has been streamed on-demand over 3.13 million times, the highest number of views in the history of the network's prime-time dramas (calculated by TVer DATA MARKETING as of January 19).
To commemorate the milestone of 3.13 million views, behind-the-scenes photos of Takeuchi, Inoue Mao, Koji Seto, and Watanabe Daichi, who co-star as classmates, were released.
The drama is a film adaptation of Yokoseki Dai's novel "Reunion" (Kodansha), which won the 56th Edogawa Rampo Prize in 2010, starring Takeuchi. It is a human love mystery that begins with a fateful reunion 23 years later between four classmates who share a secret: they buried a gun used in a crime under a cherry tree at their elementary school.
