The third episode of the drama series "Drama Choose! 'Rakudatsukkon'" (TV Tokyo, Tuesday midnight 12:30), starring actress Rio Uchida, will be broadcast on January 20th.
In the third episode, Emiru (Yurika Nakamura) miscarries her child with Tsukasa (Kentaro Ito). Meanwhile, Chiharu (Uchida) is forced to make a decision after discovering she is unexpectedly pregnant.
While Tsukasa comforts Emiru, who continues to cry, he is irritated as he remembers the face of his mother, Aiko (Machida Shion), laughing disdainfully at him and comparing him to his brother. "I even got divorced to be with Emiru, but in the end it's all back to square one..." One day, a young man named Nao (Matsumoto Daiki), who claims to be a friend of Hiroki (Onozuka Hayato), appears in front of Chiharu with some dubious information.
The drama is based on Mei Yamada's manga "Rakutotsukkon ~The Talented Woman is Chosen~," which became a hot topic for its depiction of an "ugly pregnancy battle between an ex-wife and a current wife." Chiharu marries Tsukasa, a psychiatrist, after many years of dating, but is unable to have children, and is feeling depressed. Then, a young woman named Emiru, who is pregnant with Tsukasa's child, appears before Chiharu... and so the story unfolds.
